I came to know of this dish only after my visit to the US. Although we get Avocados in India ( In the name of Butter fruit ), I never cared for them much. But after eating guacamole, I fell in love with the dish and now it has become a regular in our house. Very very easy to make , this dip goes well with nachos and other crackers. Here is the recipe.
All you need is
Avocado - 2
Onion - 2 tbsp ( Finely chopped )
Tomato - 2 tbsp ( Finely chopped )
Fresh coriander - 1 tbsp ( finely chopped )
Green chili - 1 ( finely chopped )
Salt to taste
Roasted cumin powder - 1\4 tsp
Lemon juice - 2 tbsp
Pomegranate seeds - 2 tbsp ( optional )
Method of preparation
Remove the skin and seed of avocado and lightly mash the fruit with your fingers.
Add the remaining ingredients and mix.
Do not over mix otherwise it will be too mushy.
Serve immediately with nachos or any other crackers of your choice.
